DiGeronimo PC is providing full services for the new Club House for the Cranford Housing Board. This building serves as a physical connection between the Cranford-Lincoln Apartments and Edward Gill Apartments, allowing residents to travel between buildings without exposure to inclement weather.

Site enhancements will include improved drainage and vehicular circulation.

The new Club House houses about 16,000 square feet on two floors. The focal space is the 5,000 square foot multipurpose space located on the second floor. This space will be utilized for performances, dinners, and other events for up to 250 people. Supporting spaces such as green room, storage room, warming kitchen, and toilets will be arranged around the multipurpose space on the second floor.

A lobby and coatroom is located on the first floor for visitors entering the building from grade level. A smaller multipurpose room is located adjacent to the lobby for pre- or post-event activities and other smaller group events.

DiGeronimo designed the building exterior to be harmonious with both Cranford-Lincoln Apartments and Edward Gill Apartments in terms of material and proportion along the visually adjacent facades. This DiGeronimo contextual design serves to bring the buildings together aesthetically.

Bringing the residents together functionally and the buildings together aesthetically, the new Club House will truly be the heart of The Cranford Housing Board Properties.
