Project Cost

DiGeronimo PC’s design for urban renewal reconfigures a triangular site adjacent to the 275-acre area targeted for brownfield redevelopment in Harrison. This project will support and extend the revitalization envisioned by the town, the county and the state and by similar projects along the Passaic River.

DiGeronimo PC’s mixed-use plan builds on Harrison’s existing urban transit infrastructure. The project features street level retail and a 200-unit highrise hotel at the site’s SW corner, where the existing PATH station is located. The plan includes a mix of housing units with a 750-unit high-rise apartment building at the SW corner of the site and 100 townhouses along the northern boundary.

The remainder of the site will be developed for recreation, with providing residents with an essential amenity lacking in the town’s original industrial fabric. The new buildings will form a backdrop to open green space, which will be developed over parking.
