Irvington Center – Mixed-Use Development

DiGeronimo PC provided planning and design services for this mixed-use high-rise retail, commercial, and residential center.  DiGeronimo established the market survey, analyzed projected income, and created the property restrictions by negotiating zoning allowances with the township.  The Center gave downtown Irvington a focus for revitalization.  Sited near major highways and adjacent to an existing bus station, Irvington Center acted as a regional catalyst for urban redevelopment along the Springfield Avenue Corridor, where Irvington serves as the middle ground between Newark and Maywood.

 

With 200 hotel rooms, with 228,000 square feet of retail, with 160,00 square feet of residential, with underground parking and with an open space atrium, the mixed-use project stimulated neighborhood renewal.
